CV Creation

Your CV is often your first introduction to an employer, and it needs to make an immediate impact. A well-structured CV highlights your skills, experience, and achievements in a clear and professional way.

Keep it clear and concise

  • Stick to 2–3 pages maximum. Employers and recruiters scan quickly.
  • Use clear headings like Education, Experience, Skills, and Achievements.

Tailor it for each role

  • Don’t send the same CV for every job. Adjust your CV to highlight the skills most relevant to the role.
  • Use keywords from the job description.

Focus on achievements, not just duties

  • Instead of writing “Responsible for managing sales team,” say:
“Increased sales revenue by 30% through team development and new client outreach.”

Format matters

  • Use a professional font (Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman).
  • Keep spacing consistent, avoid overuse of colors or graphics unless applying to creative industries.

Add key extras

  • Certifications, language skills, and software knowledge can give you an edge.
  • References available on request is sufficient — no need to list personal contacts.
