A prominent courier company is looking for a reliable and responsible Night Shift Checker to join our Cape Town warehouse team. If you’re organised, customer-focused, and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the delivery and collection of freight during night shifts
- Ensure safe-keeping of parcels to prevent loss, misplacement, or damage
- Assist with sorting parcels and loading/unloading vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, warehouse, offices, and toilets
- Support the team in day-to-day warehouse operations
Requirements:
- Appointment based on ability to perform the role
- Previous experience in the road freight industry is advantageous
- Strong customer service orientation
- Good communication skills
- Professional self-management and presentation
- Honest, responsible, and reliable with excellent attendance and time-keeping
- Ability to build good rapport with customers and colleagues
